May 17th \u201cYou\u2019d be surprised\u201d comedy special 10pm pst @showtime&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the last few years, Brendan Schaub has become a titan of the podcast industry, hosting shows alongside comedians Bryan Callen and Theo Von, and frequently appearing as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience. Given the way the former fighter has been rubbing shoulders with top comedians, it seemed like a matter of time before he got a stand-up special of his own. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schaub retired from fighting after a December, 2014 TKO loss to Travis Browne. In his next most recent fight, he gave up a controversial split decision to former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski. These losses were preceded by a pair of wins over Matt Mitrione and Lavar Johnson. Other highlights of his resume include victories over names like Mirko Crop Cop and Gabriel Gonzaga.
