It was just a matter of who against.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We now know as the UFC announced on Wednesday that the headliner for UFC 238 in Chicago, Illinois on June 8 will indeed be Moraes vying for the vacant crown against the flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo (14-2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">For the vacant bantamweight belt!<br><br>Flyweight champ <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HenryCejudo?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@HenryCejudo<\/a> takes on No. 1 bantamweight <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MMARLONMORAES?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MMarlonMoraes<\/a> in the main event at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/UFC238?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#UFC238<\/a>! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hieInfqXXf\">pic.twitter.com\/hieInfqXXf<\/a><\/p>&mdash; UFC (@ufc) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ufc\/status\/1111025133072928776?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 27, 2019<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Both men are currently riding stunningly impressive winning streaks that demand respect for each competitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the current 125-pound champ, Cejudo, his streak began following a very close split decision loss to Joseph Benavidez in December 2016. Two dominant wins over Wilson Reis and Sergio Pettis later and Cejudo had earned his second career UFC title shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Challenging the reigning king, Demetrious Johnson once again, Cejudo would make the most of his opportunity in the rematch and come out with the split decision win to become the new flyweight champion. This directly before <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/henry-cejudo\/ufc-on-espn-1-results-henry-cejudo-tkos-tj-dillashaw\/\">dispatching of the aforementioned former champion, Dillashaw in just around 30 seconds<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moraes&#8217; current four-fight streak began following his lone loss in his last 18 fights to Raphael Assuncao whom he would avenge the loss to in February when he scored a first-round submission win. Thus making it three straight highlight reel wins for the Brazilian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fight makes it UFC 238&#8217;s second and likely final title fight.
