UFC welterweight standout Tim Means stepped back in the octagon at tonight’s UFC Wichita event for a fight with Niko Price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Means entered tonight’s contest looking to build on the momentum of his first round TKO victory over Ricky Rainey this past November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Niko Price came in to UFC Wichita looking to rebound, this after having his two-fight win streak ended by Abdul Razak Alhassan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tonight’s Means vs. Price bout was expected to deliver fireworks and it did not disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Price stunned Means early in round one, but “The Dirty Bird” was able to score a timely takedown followed by some decent ground and pound. When the fighters got back to standing and trading, Means appeared to have Price in trouble after landing a couple of good combinations.
