If the pair were to rematch in the year 2019, however, Zahabi says he&#8217;d pick Holloway to come out on top \u2014 potentially even by stoppage.<\/p>\n<p id=\"6twJt4\">\u201cIf I had to pick Max Holloway vs. McGregor today, I would pick Max Holloway,\u201d Zahabi explained (transcript via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloodyelbow.com\/2019\/1\/7\/18171716\/zahabi-on-potential-mcgregor-vs-holloway-rematch-the-blueprint-to-beating-conor-ufc-mma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloody Elbow<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Holloway has grown leaps and bounds since then. In my opinion, Holloway would out-punch him, outwork him. He would do very much what Diaz did [to Conor McGregor], but more,\u201d he said. \u201cI think McGregor got away with a lot of stuff, like the leg kicks against Diaz, but I don\u2019t think he\u2019ll have that against Holloway.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Firas Zahabi continued, explaining that blueprint for beating Conor McGregor is now quite clear \u2014 not just for Max Holloway, but for the whole roster.<\/p>\n<p id=\"bN3VMw\">\u201cHolloway has the same type of output as Diaz, the same kind of chin as Diaz,&#8221; he said. &#8220;He\u2019s more athletic than Diaz, he has more variety in his attacks, he has more kicking, kneeing and elbowing, and his chin is just phenomenal. So I really think he would take it in the later rounds.
