Usually I\u2019m a 3X but I\u2019m slimming down a little bit so I\u2019m a 2X,\u201d Lewis told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZfeuDYRyzNA&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Rich Eisen Show<\/a>\u00a0recently (transcript via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2018\/10\/25\/18020414\/morning-report-derrick-lewis-says-sex-is-part-of-cardio-regimen-ahead-of-daniel-cormier-fight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMA Fighting<\/a>). \u201cI\u2019ve been doing nothing but cardio. Even the sex. The sex really been helping my hips. I know Cormier is a wrestler so you really got to get them hips down on him so I\u2019ve been working them hips really good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is an old adage in the world of pugilism that suggests fighters shouldn&#8217;t have sex before battle. Derrick Lewis says he isn&#8217;t buying it. In fact, he&#8217;s proven it to be a myth himself.<\/p>\n<p id=\"3iavl5\">\u201cNot me,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cSome times, a couple of times, I had sex the same day as I fought. Just to see if that myth was right, and it wasn\u2019t right. But I was sleepy afterwards but I still had the energy though.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If it sounds like Derrick Lewis isn&#8217;t taking his UFC 230 scrap with Daniel Cormier seriously, think again. He guarantees that it will not be an easy night for the champion.<\/p>\n<p id=\"qSovlB\">\u201cI think Cormier is gonna come out and try to wrestle me, try to get me tired, and try to push the pace,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cI know he might not say that I\u2019m on his level but I think I am and he thinking that I\u2019m not, really. He\u2019s thinking that it\u2019s gonna be an easy fight for him, thinking that I don\u2019t train hard like he does. Just because he\u2019s an Olympic wrestler he\u2019s thinking that it\u2019s gonna be an easy fight for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"8hd9d9\">\u201cEveryone else is a mixed martial artist,&#8221; he added, discussing his peers. &#8220;I\u2019m not a mixed martial artist, I\u2019m a brawler. Basically, I guess they just thinking I\u2019ve been winning my fights just by luck.
