Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father has forgiven Conor McGregor following UFC 229 and has apparently invited the Irish star\u00a0to come and\u00a0visit Dagestan.<\/p>\n

The news comes just two weeks after Abdulmanap’s son, undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, defeated Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The Eagle<\/a>” was able to use his strong grappling skills to frustrate the Irish superstar for the better part of fifteen minutes at UFC 229, this before eventually locking in a fight-ending neck crank submission in round four<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Conor-McGregor-Khabib-Nurmagomedov\"<\/p>\n

The bad blood between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor began when “The Eagle<\/a>” confronted one of the Irishman’s teammates Artem Lobov prior to April’s UFC 223 event in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Khabib’s actions towards “The Russian Hammer<\/a>” caused Conor McGregor to lose control, which resulted in the now infamous bus attack at the Barclay’s Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The animosity between the two fight camps only grew from there, as both men and their respective associates continued to exchange unpleasantries<\/a> right up until UFC 229.<\/p>\n

Despite Conor McGregor insulting his son, country and team, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov claims to have forgiven “Mystic Mac<\/a>” and has even extended an invitation to the Irishman to come visit Dagestan.<\/p>\n

\u201cDistinguished guests, I invite again to the tournament our close friend [actor and former UFC fighter] Oleg Taktarov and McGregor,\u201d<\/em> Abdulmanap stated via Russia Today<\/a>. \u201cI said that I forgive him [for all the insults], it\u2019s important to be kind-hearted!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
