Conor McGregor is currently gearing up for a massive UFC 229 title fight with UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov \u2014 but that’s certainly not all he’s got on the go.<\/p>\n

On Monday afternoon, the Irish MMA star unveiled his new Irish whiskey, which he’s been teasing since he battled Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring in August of 2017. McGregor also announced that a portion of the sales from each bottle will be donated to local first responders.<\/p>\n

\nI wanted to make an Irish whiskey emblematic of Irish culture as a whole, and something that would showcase the great skill we possess of distilling the best Whiskey in the entire world. One of the many amazing skills we possess on this great island.<\/em>
\nProper Twelve is crafted at Ireland\u2019s oldest distillery. It is made with the Isle\u2019s freshest spring water and finest golden grain and single malt \u2013 it is pure liquid gold!<\/em>
\nThis is Ireland\u2019s whiskey, and it is my gift to the world.<\/em><\/p>\n

Another proud announcement for me in this venture is that with each case we sell, my company will donate to the first responders in each district the case is sold in.\u00a0<\/em>
\nThis donation plan will be in operation all over the world.<\/em>
