But me and Dominick have this weird love-hate relationship. \u2026 There\u2019s been several times where me and Dominick, after we\u2019ve worked at FOX we\u2019ve gone for a couple of drinks together \u2014 he legit, and you\u2019ve got to love him for this, he legit thinks he can kick my ass. And every time we get into a slight difference, because Dominick\u2019s very opinionated, we often differ on opinions, and he wants to get physical. He wants to throw down.<\/p>\n\u201cHe does this all the time. We were once out in Hollywood \u2014 I can\u2019t even remember. He had many shots of tequila, as did I. And something happened, and he was like, \u2018You want to punch me right now. Don\u2019t you? You want to punch me\u2019. It was like that scene in Stepbrothers. And I\u2019m like, \u2018No\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he says, \u2018Go on motherf*cker. Swing a shot. By the time you swing on me, I\u2019ll have hit you in the face six, seven times. You won\u2019t be able to touch me\u2019. I\u2019m like, \u2018What are you talking about Dominick, I am not going to punch you\u2019. And then my older brother who had just got off a plane from England, who was very inebriated due to the tequila and the flight. And he\u2019s like, \u2018Woah, stop guys don\u2019t fight\u2019. \u2026 That\u2019s just an average night out with me and Dominick.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dominick Cruz, as you can probably expect, offers a different account of things. He says It was Michael Bisping who was the aggressor, and that the former middleweight champion ultimately ended up knocking out his own brother.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were already getting at each other all day,\u201d Cruz said. \u201cJust kind of throwing low blows all day long on TV. We all know Bisping can dish it out but he has a hard time taking it. So, after a while \u2013 pick, pick, pick, pick, pick \u2013 we get to the bar, he has a couple of champagnes. He\u2019s like, \u2018Oh ok, I\u2019ll have a couple of these Champagnes. I\u2019ll be alright.\u2019 A couple of his friends fly in from Manchester, including his brother, and when they get there, you know Michael\u2019s happy now. Now he\u2019s really good.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo a couple more champagnes went down and we\u2019re drinking, we\u2019re having fun, chilling, and we\u2019re getting to this area where we\u2019re all trying to figure out what we\u2019re going to do and Michael looks at me and I said something pretty \u2014 probably a little below the belt. And he gets a little upset and he grabs me by my shirt, crinkles it and goes, \u2018Listen you little shit! I\u2019m not going to take you talking to me like that anymore\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile he\u2019s looking at me, I kind of look behind me and I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you talking to me or the guy behind me?\u2019 And then he f*cking snaps. . .<\/p>\n
\u201cThen, all of a sudden, Michael Bisping\u2019s brother comes out of nowhere and he goes, \u2018Bisping, Bisping. Stop it! You\u2019re going to get us in trouble. And Bisping just whap! Sleeps his brother in the middle of the club, just lays him out! I go, \u2018Oh my God, that could have been me! Thank God I talked a little bit of sense to him because at first when he was yelling to me, I was like, \u2018Go ahead, Bisping. If you want to do this, we can do this right f*cking now.\u2019 I was like, \u2018We can do this, but I promise you, you\u2019re going to swing, you\u2019re going to miss, we\u2019re in a small place, you can\u2019t see very well, I\u2019m going to hit you 10 times before you even hit me once.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cHe kind of looks at me and he thinks about like, \u2018I\u2019ll probably kill Dominick, but at the same time, he might have a point. He could possibly do what he just said.\u2019 But that\u2019s when his brother stepped in and he just slept his brother rather than taking the smart direction. He gets thrown out of the club, I stay there and Bisping goes and rips it somewhere else, has a blast living his good life. That\u2019s the end of that story.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Dominick Cruz was adamant this was the way things shook out, Michael Bisping assures he did not knock out his own brother. In his memory, he only hit him with a slap.<\/p>\n
