With the possibility of yet another super fight on the horizon…this time in the women’s divisions, it presents an opening for the UFC to grant another interim crown.<\/p>\n
A super fight between the UFC’s featherweight and bantamweight champions has been on the minds of many fans and pundits alike. Dating back to around the beginning of 2018 when UFC 219 concluded with featherweight queen Cris Cyborg<\/a> defending her title successfully against a former 135-pound champion in Holly Holm.<\/p>\n The current champion in the division below Cyborg’s is Amanda Nunes and each has stated over the recent months that they do indeed have interest in fighting one another.
