Some of which being former fighters looking to return like Brock Lesnar and currently active fighters looking to enter into one of Cormier&#8217;s divisions.<\/p>\n<p>The one person who fits that description is the current top-ranked middleweight contender <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/yoel-romero\/manager-confirms-yoel-romero-plans-to-move-to-light-heavyweight-wants-title-fight-with-daniel-cormier\/\">Yoel Romero who is looking to leave his home of 185 pounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dc_mma?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@dc_mma<\/a> Congratulation to you for Saturday. I want to #seeyousoonboi give the people what they want to see Me and #iluhju 205 in New York<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Having now suffered two defeats to middleweight king Robert Whittaker, Romero has his sights set on the 205-pound champ.<\/p>\n<p>With an even larger target on his back now, Cormier took the time to address Romero on today&#8217;s episode of UFC Tonight.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cHere\u2019s the deal&#8230;&#8221; Cormier said, &#8220;I never wrestled Yoel Romero, but in wrestling, he probably would have served me up. He\u2019s one of the great wrestlers of all-time. But, you don\u2019t fail a class and then get moved up a grade to the next one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Chael Sonnen did that one time, but I don\u2019t know what was going on. Chael has a way of doing that. Let\u2019s just say that.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, Cormier is referring to Chael Sonnen&#8217;s 2013 light heavyweight title challenge against Jon Jones after losing twice to the middleweight champion Anderson Silva.<\/p>\n<p>Despite not thinking Romero should get an instant crack at his belt, that doesn&#8217;t mean that Cormier isn&#8217;t interested in still defending it now that he has two.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t want them to take one of these belts. So I will defend it. I will defend the light heavyweight title if the right fight presents itself.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Who that next and possibly final light heavyweight title defense would be against for Cormier remains to be determined.
