The <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/fighter\/conor-mcgregor\">Conor McGregor<\/a> training partner will be <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/dillon-danis\/dillon-danis-gets-opponent-for-his-bellator-198-mma-debut\/\">welcomed to the world of cage fighting by Kyle Walker<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Danis has oozed confidence ever since his signing with Bellator was announced \u2013 so much so that some fans are wondering if he&#8217;s taking the challenge ahead lightly.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to doubts about his preparation, Danis frankly feels disrespected.<\/p>\n<p id=\"an3Hdo\">\u201cIt\u2019s that people would think I would do this not prepared,\u201d Danis\u00a0said on a recent edition of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2018\/3\/19\/17137264\/the-mma-hour-with-paddy-pimblett-in-studio-max-holloway-francis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The MMA Hour<\/a> (h\/t Marc Raimondi of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2018\/3\/25\/17140516\/dillon-danis-says-he-feels-disrespected-that-some-think-hes-taking-mma-debut-lightly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAFighting<\/a>).\u00a0\u201cThey think that I would take this as a joke. And I know MMA is a ruthless game and you can get hurt. You could basically change your life with a wrong fight or something. I feel disrespected that people would think that I\u2019m just going into this lightly or I\u2019m just gonna train jiu-jitsu or something like that. I respect this game a lot and I\u2019m preparing for a world title fight, in a sense. Because that\u2019s how every fight should be treated. I just feel a little disrespected that people would think that I took this lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Danis also addressed those who have questions about his striking ability. Apparently, we&#8217;ll just have to wait and see what he&#8217;s capable of in this department.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-entry-content\">\n<p id=\"PskhlV\">\u201cI\u2019ve been getting punched in the face for a long time, don\u2019t worry,\u201d Danis said. \u201cI like all these questions. I\u2019ve been getting this a lot, like \u2018what\u2019s his stand up gonna be like?\u2019 and all this stuff. But the good thing about MMA is everything gets answered. So, I guess we\u2019ll see.
