In the opinion of lightweight contender Kevin Lee, however, McGregor actually stands a good chance of knocking Nurmagomedov out.<\/p>\n<p>This, Lee says, is based more on the holes in Nurmagomedov&#8217;s game than McGregor&#8217;s skill. Lee gave his assessment of this fight in a chat with Jim Edwards and Danny Austin of MMANytt.com.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uERBIYp1ymg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think Conor would get him,&#8221; Lee said(h\/t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmamania.com\/2018\/2\/28\/17060834\/midnight-mania-kevin-lee-conor-mcgregor-will-ko-khabib-nurmagomedov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAMania<\/a>). &#8220;It would blow people\u2019s minds, and it would blow him out of proportion, they would think Conor\u2019s just some fucking magical god or some whatever, because people are stupid anyway. But, in the real of what it is, Khabib is very hittable. He has a lot of holes in his game, and he doesn\u2019t seem to be patching those holes. You know what I mean? He doesn\u2019t fight very often, you barely get to see him, but the same Khabib that showed up against Edson was the same one that showed up against RDA like six years ago. There\u2019s just no evolution in the man\u2019s game, so&#8230; if they were to fight, honestly, I would probably lean towards McGregor. But first, Khabib has to get through Tony.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Lee is also <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/exclusive-interviews\/exclusive-kevin-lee-tony-ferguson-khabib-nurmagomedov\/\">picking Tony Ferguson to defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 223<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019ve been going back and forth on it a little bit, but I\u2019m still pushing the Tony side,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I just think Tony\u2019s gonna be a little too much for him. He just does a lot of weird stuff in there. You think you\u2019ve got him, you think that he\u2019s hurt because of the way he moves, and the way he absorbs some of these punches, but he does a good job rolling with em, keep moving forward. I think he\u2019s gonna put the intensity, I think he\u2019s gonna wear Khabib out.
