Over the last few weeks, there has been ceaseless buzz surrounding an MMA rematch between current UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather \u2013 be it in the cage or the ring.<\/p>\n
From the sounds of it, however, both men are keen to put an end to this rematch talk.<\/p>\n
Mayweather was first to suggest this rematch was a no-go, reminding MMA reporter Mike Bohn that he’s already fought (and beaten) McGregor.<\/p>\n
\nJust saw @FloydMayweather<\/a> as I was walking backstage and asked him if he’s serious about a rematch with @TheNotoriousMMA<\/a> in MMA: “I already fought Conor, and we’re at a basketball game, not an MMA match.”<\/p>\n
