Most recently, former defensive end for the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, Greg Hardy has made the leap over and quickly found success. Hardy is undefeated at 2-0 with both of his wins coming by way of knockout(both under a minute and thirty-six\u00a0seconds).<\/p>\n<p>Hardy is only twenty-nine\u00a0years old but played six seasons in the NFL(although one of those seasons he only played one game in due to getting suspended for his domestic violence case). Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmafighting.com\/2018\/1\/2\/16842604\/former-nfl-player-greg-hardy-set-for-third-amateur-mma-fight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MMAFighting<\/a> reports that he is set to for his biggest fight on his biggest stage so far when he takes on the 2-1, Ryan Chester at Legacy Fighting Alliance(LFA) 33 on February 16 in his third amateur Heavyweight bout.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 3200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/cd\/24\/04\/cd24041e42f61aaf1a25c10b240ce6e3.jpg\" width=\"3200\" height=\"1800\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hardy with the Carolina Panthers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>LFA is Hardy&#8217;s biggest MMA stage so far as it broadcasts its events on AXS-TV. Hardy trains with one of MMA&#8217;s best gyms in American Top Team which really gives him the possibility to reach his full potential as a fighter considering his great athletism and talent a sportsman. Other big-name\u00a0NFL players who have transitioned into the MMA world include the likes of legendary running back, Herschel Walker who began fighting at age forty-seven and still found success. Walker only fought twice, but he still was able to win both outings by TKO which is crazy by itself.<\/p>\n<p>Many have already speculated and pondered how long it will take or whether or not Hardy will be able to one day make his way to the UFC or perhaps a more likely option in Bellator.
