Would a Conor McGregor<\/a> and Georges St-Pierre <\/a>matchup be the biggest fight in UFC history? It would certainly make for an interesting match of styles and with both fighter’s star power, it would definitely make for some massive numbers.<\/p>\n

St-Pierre’s longtime Tristar Gym coach<\/a> Firas Zahabi spoke with Express Sport<\/a> recently on the matchup that he says he has been interested in this fight for St-Pierre for some time.<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t think that\u2019s crazy. I\u2019ve been asking for that fight for over a year and a half now,” Zahabi said. <\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a crazy fight. I think it\u2019s a brilliant fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Georges himself isn’t campaigning<\/a> for a fight with “The Notorious,” Zahabi said that both McGregor and St-Pierre’s accomplishments are incredible and that it just make sense for them to go at it in the Octagon.<\/p>\n

\"Conor<\/a><\/p>\n

“I think Conor McGregor is a two-belt champion, two division champ,\u201d said the Tristar Gym head coach.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s got the touch of death in his hands. He knows what he\u2019s doing, he\u2019s highly intelligent, highly captivated, he\u2019s extremely dangerous. And I don\u2019t think he fears anybody. <\/p>\n

“So I think him and Georges would be a phenomenal fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

It would be tough for any other matchup to sell like a McGregor vs. St-Pierre superfight<\/a> and Zahabi believes that the two would hold the record for some years to come.<\/p>\n

\"Georges<\/a><\/p>\n

“It would probably be the biggest fight in UFC history and MMA history,\u201d Zahabi added. \u201cAnd that record wouldn\u2019t be broken for ten years. So why not do it?”<\/p>\n
