You got one half of the party that\u2019s been offered, that\u2019s accepted, that\u2019s out here with their bag at Wilcard Boxing getting punched by world champions. Then you got the other side that\u2019s got a whole bunch of excuses. So, that\u2019s what I\u2019m kind of fired up about. 10-4 [the UFC offered me a fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 219]. Correct. [I\u2019ve agreed to that fight].\u201d<\/em><\/p>\nWoodley continued:<\/p>\n

“There is definitely still a chance that the fight (w Diaz) could happen,”<\/em> Woodley stated. “But right now it looks like the 314 trumps the 209.”<\/em><\/p>\nTaylor then asked Woodley if there was any chance he would fight at the December 30 event if the opponent was not named Nate Diaz.<\/p>\n
“If there is no Nate Diaz, then there is no Tyron Woodley at UFC 219.”<\/em> Woodley answered.<\/p>\nOnly time will tell if a welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Nate Diaz will actually come to fruition at UFC 219 next month in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
