Bellator MMA has been trying to pit rival British strikers Paul Daley and Michael “Venom” Page against one another for ages. Unfortunately, the bout has yet to come to fruition, despite the best efforts of Bellator President Scott Coker and his team.<\/p>\n

Fresh of a knockout win in his boxing debut<\/a>, Page recently explained that he’s lost most of his interest in this fight. That said, the flash British knockout artist said he could be coaxed into the cage with Daley if the bout was arranged with winner-take-all stakes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m being very specific with this this one now,” Page said on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour. “I\u2019m saying the only way I\u2019m going to fight him is if he puts his whole pay check on paper. I\u2019ll do exactly the same. Winner takes all. If I were to lose that fight, I don\u2019t want a penny for losing that fight. If I win that fight I don\u2019t want him to get paid.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want him to do anything\u2026 Put your whole pay check up and I\u2019ll happily fight you.\u00a0 Outside of that, I\u2019m genuinely not interested.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

“For me, I know how big this fight could be, but I genuinely don\u2019t care anymore. I\u2019m just not interested.\u00a0 I\u2019m kind tired of this whole back and forth thing. If it happens, then it\u00a0 happens. But for me, I\u2019m not chasing it anymore.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In a somewhat surprising twist, Bellator MMA President Scott Coker recently admitted that he’s actually up for promoting a winner-takes-all fight between the two rivals.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, that fight should happen, and if \u2018winner take all\u2019 is what he\u2019s proposing, maybe that\u2019s what we propose to Paul and say, \u2018Hey, here\u2019s a winner take all scenario, let\u2019s do it, let\u2019s get it on,” Coker said. “If they want to put it on the line, we\u2019re going to pay somebody, we\u2019ll just pay the winner.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
