Tony Ferguson has the biggest fight of his career in just a couple of days as he is set to take on Kevin Lee for the UFC interim lightweight title. Ferguson and Lee headline UFC 216<\/a>, which takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The winner of the fight and the interim title should have the best chance of fighting current undisputed UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor<\/a>. If negotiated right, any opponent who fights McGregor should be getting the biggest payday of their career as the draw of “The Notorious” seemingly can’t be matched by any other fighter on the roster at the moment.<\/p>\n

However, Ferguson doesn’t have McGregor in his sights even if victorious on Saturday night. McGregor is coming off his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather and has shown recently that he gets the fight that he wants, even if that means fighting outside the sport of MMA and it sounds like Ferguson isn’t holding his breath.<\/p>\n

“I don’t like red panties<\/a>, I like blue panties,\u201d Ferguson told MMA Junkie<\/a>. “So, I mean for me, you can f**king say that if you want but I mean depending on whatever, I’m sure he wears panties now. You know what I mean? I mean if you get to that certain spot in your life. He’s gonna worry about me because if he wants to retire, he\u2019s not gonna defend or vacate, he\u2019s gonna have to fight me. There\u2019s no insider information. He\u2019s never spoken my name and I\u2019m one of the most ruthless vatos out there. This guy, he doesn\u2019t want a part of me. I\u2019m not aiming at him. I don\u2019t give two f–ks.<\/p>\n
