This Saturday night, in the main event of the anticipated UFC 215, 24-year-old flyweight contender Ray Borg will attempt to do the seemingly impossible<\/a> and derail the historic win-streak <\/a>of champ Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson.<\/p>\n

Borg, of course, is not the first man to attempt to end Mighty Mouse’s reign. Ten others have tried and failed. When the cage door closes on Saturday, however, he believes he’s got what it takes to defeat the dominating flyweight king.<\/p>\n

He broke down his advantages on the latest episode of BJ Penn Radio<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cI have all the confidence in the world that I can go in there and beat DJ in every aspect,\u201d he told host Kinch<\/a>. \u201cIf you think about it, DJ is great everywhere. But really, the reason he gets away with fights is \u2018cause he can drag these guys into deep waters and just drown them.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“He\u2019s shown vulnerability, time and time again,” Borg continued. “I also think styles really make fights. I think honestly, my style is not as a good a matchup for him as anybody he\u2019s ever fought. I bring it all to the table. I can strike, I can grapple, I can cut angles. I can match his speed, more importantly, and I have the explosiveness to do so as well. The scary part for DJ is that he doesn\u2019t know what I\u2019m coming into this fight with. Everybody he\u2019s fought has been the same fighter their whole career. You can\u2019t tell me my last two fights that I\u2019m not changing. I\u2019m changing, I\u2019m coming into my own each fight. My style has changed and evolved my last couple fights, so DJ has no clue what he\u2019s in for fight night. He\u2019s going to see how much I\u2019ve progressed, and the world\u2019s going to see how much I\u2019ve progressed.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
