That said, the boss isn&#8217;t happy with the flyweight champ.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cYou want Ray Borg, we\u2019ll give you Ray Borg,\u201d White said. \u201cI\u2019m sure the fans will be clamoring, and ticket sales will be through the roof and pay-per-views will be off the charts,&#8221; he continued sarcastically.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not thrilled with Demetrious Johnson. You\u2019re the pound-for-pound best in the world, T.J. Dillashaw challenges you \u2013 one of the best in the world, former world champion \u2013 and you flat out deny the fight, flat out say, \u2018I won\u2019t do it. I want Ray Borg.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWho wouldn\u2019t want to see Demetrious Johnson vs. <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/tj-dillashaw\/tj-dillashaw-to-demetrious-johnson-to-me-youre-being-a-bch2\/\">T.J. Dillashaw<\/a>? Dillashaw calling me every day: \u2018I\u2019m cutting weight. I\u2019m cutting weight. I\u2019m dieting. I\u2019m training. I\u2019m cutting weight. Do I got the fight? Do I got the fight?\u2019 Ask T.J. Dillashaw next time you see him or you interview him. Calling me every day, chomping at the bit for the fight. You expect the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world to go, \u2018Let\u2019s do it.&#8217;\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>White then clarified some of his previous comments about the flyweight division \u2013 including a purported threat to close it \u2013 which he says were blown out of proportion.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWhat I said to him was, \u2018A couple of years ago, we were actually talking about getting rid of the division,&#8217;\u201d White said of a conversation he had with the champ. \u201cThere was never a threat to him, \u2018Oh, we\u2019re going to get rid of the division. That was complete bull(expletive), and 90 percent of what he came out and said was complete bull(expletive). Never did I say to him, \u2018Hey, if you don\u2019t do this, we\u2019re going to get rid of your division.\u2019 What I said to him was, \u2018A couple of years ago, we were talking.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI built an \u2018Ultimate Fighter\u2019 around you to try and build you. He said he hasn\u2019t been promoted. Who has defended that weight division more than me? I mean, I used to stand up in front of (the media) at the press conference going, \u2018This kid is amazing. He\u2019s unbelievable. He\u2019s this. He\u2019s that,\u2019 which he is. I\u2019m not saying he\u2019s not. But we\u2019re in a spot now where you had the opportunity to really get out there. T.J. Dillashaw called you out. He\u2019s one of the best in the world, and he\u2019s a former world champion. Many people thought he won the fight against (Dominick) Cruz. And you flat out say, \u2018I don\u2019t want to fight this guy.
