For the most part, however, there has seemed to be more reason to believe <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/conor-mcgregor\/frustrated-floyd-mayweather-tells-conor-mcgregor-sign-paper\/\">it won&#8217;t happen<\/a> than there are to believe it&#8217;ll actually come to fruition. That is changing.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/boxing-news\/floyd-mayweather\/floyd-mayweather-officially-ends-retirement-wants-conor-mcgregor-june\/\">Mayweather officially emerged from his longstanding pseudo-retirement<\/a>. He did so with the singular focus of fighting McGregor, even offering up the month of June as a possible target.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;I\u2019m coming out of retirement just to fight Conor McGregor,&#8221; Mayweather said.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let\u2019s fight in June. You\u2019re the B side, I\u2019m the A side. We\u2019re not here to cry about money. I\u2019m tired of all this crying about money and talking about you want to fight. You blowing smoke up everybody\u2019s ass. If you want to fight, sign the paperwork, let\u2019s do it.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, we have another reason to believe this fight could actually occur. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flocombat.com\/article\/53241-las-vegas-venue-holds-date-for-floyd-mayweather-vs-conor-mcgregor#.WMaSjhIrJ8c\" target=\"_blank\">Flocombat.com<\/a>, the T-Mobile Arena \u2013 a massive, combat sports venue in the combat sports mecca of Las Vegas, Nevada \u2013 is confident enough that this fight will come to fruition that they&#8217;re saving the date June 10 for it. This of course, is not an assurance the fight will happen.
