Gegard Mousasi is looking for a fight. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to find one. Despite being willing to fight pretty much anyone in the UFC middleweight rankings, he still hasn’t been scheduled for a scrap.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Fox Sports<\/a>, Mousasi shared his frustrations, putting his fellow middleweights on blast for refusing to fight.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI wanted to fight Anderson [Silva]<\/a> and the UFC said \u2018well you don\u2019t have a big enough name\u2019 but now he\u2019s fighting Derek Brunson<\/a>,\u201d Mousasi said. \u201cLuke Rockhold is injured but I see him training all the time. Chris Weidman doesn\u2019t pick up his phone. The UFC offered him that fight a couple of times. [Robert] Whittaker<\/a> wants to go on holiday for seven months. I don\u2019t know what he\u2019s up to. I\u2019m looking for a fight.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201c[Weidman] says he was offered a couple of fights \u2013 who?” Mousasi continued. “Everyone is booked or injured. Whittaker doesn\u2019t want to fight until May or June, that\u2019s what the UFC told me. Who else is there to fight? UFC offered me to him to fight.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201c[Rockhold], he says he\u2019s torn his ACL<\/a> a little bit and I\u2019m actually afraid to take that fight because he\u2019s still injured. I\u2019m afraid to accept that fight and then suddenly he pulls out and I\u2019m training for nothing. If he accepts the fight and he\u2019s healthy, that\u2019s a good fight for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At this stage, Mousasi just wants to fight. He’s willing to fight anyone in the top 15, and he’s confident that no matter who they are, he can beat them.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready to take any fight. From No. 1 to No. 15, I\u2019m open. I\u2019m ready to take risks if the reward is there. I\u2019d rather fight somebody in the top five rather than somebody in the top 15, but I\u2019ll fight anybody.”<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I fight the right fight, I\u2019m a bad matchup for everyone. I feel I have the best stand up. Luke Rockhold\u2019s not going to take me down. Chris Weidman\u2019s not going to take me down. Their wrestling is great, but they have to set it up with strikes. Heavyweights cannot take me down at this moment so no middleweight is going to take me down. All I can say is I\u2019m very confident. I\u2019m looking to fight those guys.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
