UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt has had enough with being left in the dark<\/a> on Brock Lesnar’s potential Anti-Doping Policy violations<\/a> after having fought the WWE star at UFC 200.<\/p>\n

Hunt was interviewed by MarkHunt.tv<\/a> and the UFC veteran is calling for all fighters to come together to create a fighter’s association so that incidents such as his with Lesnar will be minimized.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way I see it, the Brock Lesnar doping thing is just another reason why we need a fighter\u2019s association,\u201d Hunt said via phone interview. \u201cThese guys are just making up the rules as they go.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst the Reebok thing, then Brock\u2019s 4 month testing exemption. Conor gets pulled off a card for not going to a press conference that me or Brock didn\u2019t go to anyway. Work that out. There\u2019s probably a heap of others.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hunt went on to talk about MMA journalist Ariel Helwani and his recent debacle with the UFC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just have to look at how Ariel gets his media pass taken away cause he broke a story about Brock, then he gets it back when other media stood up for him and called out the UFC.\u201d He said. \u201cThese guys are just making sh*t it up as they go.<\/p>\n

\u201cYet fighters refuse to support other fighters when they f*ck us over.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey say they are cleaning up the sport, yet I\u2019ve risked my health two times against guys cheating since this USADA thing started. I was told Brock was gonna be tested when I took the fight, he comes in looking fricken juicy as hell and then I find out he\u2019s popped after the PPV has already been sold.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s ridiculous. The fact that they haven\u2019t even bothered to make contact with me since all of this happened just proves they don\u2019t care.”<\/p>\n

Hunt added that the majority of the fighters trying to make their way up the ranks are hardly getting paid and won’t have anything if the can’t reach the upper echelon of the fight game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese guys have lined there [sic] pockets with our blood if you ask me. I mean they deserve to get paid no doubt, they took the UFC from nothing into what it is today, but come on, most of the guys fighting, get paid nothing and have no benefits.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you ask me there needs to be a system where they at least run things past the fighters before making these decisions and the fighters can look out for each other. We need an association where we can have our voices heard. We are massive reason why fans watch the sport and we risk our health to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hunt added that he isn’t afraid to stand up and fight for what he believes is fair.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not worried about the UFC,\u201d he said. \u201cShucks, I\u2019ve been fighting my whole life. Fighting to survive in my home, to the ring and now cage. These guys didn\u2019t even want me in the UFC but here I am. I\u2019m not scared of them.”<\/p>\n

While Hunt admits that he may not be the most qualified person to take the lead on such a game-changing task, he says he is talking to all the right people to make things happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean shucks I\u2019m not an expert on all this, but me and my team have been talking to the experts about how to make this a reality,\u201d Hunt said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo the fighters listening to this, I want them to get in touch with me via my Facebook page and we can get thing [sic] going. I won\u2019t name anyone until we sort it all out, but get in touch and lets [sic] make this happen.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
