The report indicated that they confirmed through multiple sources that a $4.2 billion bid coming from a group that consisted of WME-IMG, the Dalian Wanda Group, The Kraft Group and Tencent Holdings was accepted by Zuffa.<\/p>\n<p>However, late Monday, UFC Vice President of public relations, athlete marketing and development, Dave Sholler, sent <a href=\"http:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/blogs\/mma-cagewriter\/ufc-informs-employees-that-report-of--4-2-billion-sale-is-false-032402489.html?soc_src=mediacontentstory&#038;soc_trk=tw\" target=\"_blank\">Yahoo Sports<\/a> a statement denying the report of the UFC sale.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;FloCombat.com&#8217;s report indicating that the UFC has been sold is false,&#8221; Sholler said in the statement. &#8220;We&#8217;ve communicated that to our staff members tonight via an internal memo.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/randy-couture\/randy-couture-says-ufc-already-sold-criticizes-dana-white\/\">UFC Hall of Fame legend Randy Couture<\/a>, as well as a <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/dana-white\/rumor-ufc-sale-is-done\/\">source close to BJPENN.COM<\/a>, were told last week that the sale was already finalized. <\/p>\n<p>Sholler did not answer any questions from Yahoo Sports and UFC President Dana White declined to comment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, FloCombat reported that Zuffa accepted a $4.2 billion bid for the purchase of the UFC.
