Conor McGregor<\/a> ahead of their welterweight bout main event at UFC 196. <\/p>\nUFC Tonight anchor Karyn Bryant spoke with Diaz who surprisingly had a lot of good things to say about “The Notorious” for what he is doing in the sport and in his career.<\/p>\n
“I think he’s great, the whole thing, calling out everbody, saying what he’s saying,” Diaz said. “A lot of the stuff he says, I’ve already said, or already thought to say, and he goes and says it, and then you’re really mad. You’re like, ‘no that’s what I said,’ you know what I’m saying? But, he got it out there and he’s doing a good job.”<\/p>\n
Regarding Conor McGregor’s move up in weight divisions and now finding himself two weight classes above his home of 145-pounds, Nate Diaz thinks that McGregor will do well, but stops for a second to make it clear that he doesn’t want that to be the case against him in their fight.<\/p>\n
“I think he’s gonna do great, you know, hopefully not against me,” Diaz said. “I went up a weight class and I felt good, I felt strong, I felt fast and real good about things so, I’m sure he is gonna feel fine.”<\/p>\n
