Barnett who is known for his own deadly ground game fell to submission with Rothwell&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mma-news\/ben-rothwell\/replay-ben-rothwell-submits-josh-barnett-with-go-go-choke\/\">perfectly executed gogo choke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Big Ben&#8221; has been <a href=\"http:\/\/staging.tcpcharms.com\/bjpenn\/mmanews\/rothwell-hoping-for-fill-in-fight-against-junior-dos-santos\/\" target=\"_blank\">campaigning for some time<\/a> now for the top competition in the UFC heavyweight division and spoke about his skills and jiu-jitsu lineage after his win on Saturday (<a href=\"http:\/\/mmajunkie.com\/2016\/02\/ben-rothwell-after-ufc-on-fox-18-win-my-submission-skills-are-like-a-cheat-code\" target=\"_blank\">transcribed by MMA Junkie<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not going to show the technique, but it\u2019s obviously the hand grip,\u201d Rothwell said following Saturday\u2019s event. \u201cI hear people say things like \u201910-finger,\u2019 \u2018squeezle diesel\u2019 and different variations of guillotine. It\u2019s none of those. If you watch what they do with those, Luiz and I shake our head. It\u2019s something very unique. I\u2019m proud of being able to represent it with Luiz because Rickson Gracie is a renowned black belt, and that\u2019s who made Luiz a black belt. When Rickson Gracie goes to Luiz, he says, \u2018Show me this gogo.\u2019 That\u2019s something special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rothwell said he feels like his skills are so superior amongst the competition right now that he used an interesting comparison to playing video games with an unfair advantage. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like my submission skills are like a cheat code out there right now,\u201d Rothwell said. \u201cGuys don\u2019t know what I\u2019m doing. They think it\u2019s going to stop with the choke. If a guy does get his takedown, it\u2019s not going to end there. I have an array of deadly skills off of my back, on top \u2013 wherever the fight goes, I\u2019m ready to end it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know a lot of people say that, but I\u2019m proving it out there.
