After a few months of investigating, the UFC have finally come to the conclusion that heavyweight Travis Browne will re-instated due to “inconclusive evidence to support claims” of domestic violence.<\/p>\n

Back in July, Browne was accused of domestic violence by his wife, who posted photos on Instagram showing bruises all over her body and said they were caused by the UFC fighter.<\/p>\n

The UFC immediately benched him from any fights or activities and said they would be doing their own investigation.<\/p>\n

Here’s the official statement:<\/p>\n

UFC announced today that an investigation into allegations of domestic violence against heavyweight Travis Browne is now complete. Conducted by a former FBI agent with more than 25 years of experience, the seven-week investigation included interviews with multiple subjects associated with the principals, as well as the principals themselves. The investigation found inconclusive evidence to support claims of alleged domestic violence involving Browne and inconclusive evidence that Browne had violated the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy.<\/em><\/p>\n

As a result, UFC has lifted Browne\u2019s temporary suspension and anticipates him returning to competition in the coming months. UFC takes allegations of domestic violence very seriously, and they will be investigated for their validity. If proven true with facts, it will result in swift action on our part.<\/em><\/p>\n

This comes on a day where bold statements were being made by the likes of Brendan Schaub, who criticized Rousey for shaming Floyd Mayweather for domestic abuse, than allegedly dating Browne.
