Werdum is the interim champion and of course the winner of the fight will be the unified champion.<\/p>\n<p>So, does Velasquez see Werdum as the champ? Not exactly.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;UFC didn&#8217;t give him the real belt because they didn&#8217;t think he was the champ, so, I mean, he&#8217;s not&#8230; There&#8217;s a title that comes with that: &#8216;interim champion,&#8217; it&#8217;s not the real one. With all of that, just set it aside and on the 13th we are going to settle it and that is what I&#8217;m excited about.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Should anyone view Werdum as an actual champion, or are the interim titles just for show?
