Donald Cerrone was able to rack up his eighth consecutive victory inside the octagon at “UFC 187” when he forced John Makdessi to bow out of the bout in the second round.<\/p>\n

Dana White stated during a post-fight interview that Cerrone was, in fact, next in line for a shot at Rafael dos Anjos’ UFC Lightweight Championship.<\/p>\n

“Absolutley, ‘Cowboy’ is definitely the next contender. He will fight anybody, anywhere, anytime… He always keeps his composure. He picks his shots. He takes his time and he looked great again tonight.”<\/p>\n
