So my first question was, \u2018I don\u2019t have to go behind Gustafsson again now, right?\u2019 And I was assured that it\u2019s going to be me in January. He\u2019s not going to take my place again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said from the beginning that Jon Jones isn\u2019t afraid of anyone,\u201d Cormier said. \u201cBut if I can go in there with a partially torn ACL, I think he should have fought; tough it up and fight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know the extent of his injuries, and if it\u2019s really bad, I\u2019ll take it back. But on the surface, I heard he hurt himself. But people hear ACL, they think you\u2019re out for a year. I\u2019ve been hurt, and I\u2019ve been training. I wish he would have just fought.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m saying tough it out sometimes,\u201d he added. \u201cSometimes you\u2019ve got to go in there and tough it out and just fight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel fine, boys,\u201d he said. \u201cI realize now that my LCL is what was bothering me, and the only thing you can do for that is time. Well, with time, it has healed, and my knee feels completely strong. I sparred yesterday, I did jiu-jitsu, and I ran. I\u2019m fine. I feel pretty sore, I\u2019ll be honest with you.
