Several years ago, English football star Wayne Rooney was involved in a kitchen sparring session against Scotland’s Phil Bardsley. The pair can be seen throwing some punches, as Bardsley shows off some rather impressive, albeit drastic, head movement. Bardsley, who appears to have some boxing experience, manages to connect with a clean jab that puts Rooney down, and out. While the jab likely wasn’t the blow that put Rooney out, the smacking his head on the floor likely did the trick.

With that being said however, Bardsley’s wife revealed following the incident that Rooney was simply playing around, and wasn’t actual out:
