Sometimes, taunting is a useful tool for fighters to bait their opponents into striking exchanges, in order to land counter shots as they come into range. The Diaz Brothers popularized what is now known as the ‘Stockton Slap’ which is one of the most well-known cases of ‘useful’ taunting in fights.

In the video above, a fighter is very confident about his chin, and shakes his head at his opponent following an exchange. What happens next is extremely ironic…
