Dana White was none too pleased when he heard that Renan Barao could not make weight for his championship bout at “UFC 177: Dillashaw vs. Soto”. On Friday, he had mentioned that it was likely he would have to take another fight before stepping into the octagon for a title shot.

During the “UFC 177” post fight press conference, however, White explained that Barao may need more than one fight to get back into the title picture.

“Renan Barao is going to have to take another fight before fighting for the title. Or more. I’m not saying one fight. I’m just saying he’s going to fight somebody else— he may have to fight more.”
