Weidman: ‘I want to retire the undefeated Greatest Of All Time’

Chris Weidman

Weidman USA
UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman has gone a perfect 12-0 so far in his professional mixed martial arts career, which includes two victories over the man many consider to be the greatest MMA fighter of all-time, Anderson Silva.

With that said, the “All American” still has some lofty goals for the future, including retiring with an undefeated record and being known as “the greatest of all time.”

In order to accomplish his goals, Weidman will have to defeat former UFC champion Vitor Belfort at this weekend’s UFC 187 event in Las Vegas. Here is what the champ had to say about his upcoming title defense and future aspirations in the sport of MMA:

“I’m here to hold the belt, I’m here to create a legacy for myself and become the greatest of all-time,” Weidman told MMAjunkie. “I’m here to retire undefeated. I have goals and no one is stopping them. People are starting to catch on and if you haven’t caught on yet you will on Saturday.”

Do you think Weidman has the potential to be the “greatest MMA fighter of all-time,” or do you think the “All American” will fall to Vitor Belfort this Saturday night in Sin City? Sound off Penn Nation!
