Urijah Faber joined MMAJunkie to talk about a potentially broken rib that he suffered during UFC 175, at the hands of Alex Caceras en route to a submission victory for Faber.
“It was just a little knee,” Faber told MMAjunkie Radio soon after the event. “It hit me kind of in the side left, where there’s not much muscle. I don’t think it takes much pressure to break a rib.”
“I felt it here and there. In the second round, I felt it for sure. But it wasn’t like a debilitating thing.”
Faber could potentially be out until January of 2015, if the x-ray comes back positive.
