UFC on FOX 14 took place in Stockholm this past Saturday night and it was a major success for the UFC. UFC Event Coordinator David Allen confirmed the event drew 30,000 fans to the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Fans from 44 different countries flocked to Sweden to watch Anthony “Rumble” Johnson duke it out with Alexander Gustafsson in the main-event of the card. Allen stated that fans were still buying tickets and finding their seats as Gustafsson was making his way to the octagon in the final bout of the night!
The gate was over $3,000,000. Allen stated that UFC officials are extremely interested in coming back to Sweden in the future.
