UFC Fight Night 60 kicked off on Fox Sports 1 with an exciting bout between James Moontasri and Cody Pfister. Even though Pfister did not put up much of a fight, it was amazing seeing him endure that much punishment and fighting through it.

Moontasri looked amazing tonight while showcasing his striking and grappling skills. Moontasri cracked Pfister with several knees in the opening round and it looked as if the referee would be calling it any second. However, Pfister showed tremendous resilience by making it to round two.

Moontasri took the the fight to the ground in the second and quickly submitted Pfister with a rear naked choke. This was Moontasri’s first victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
