The UFC’s return to Vancouver this past Saturday at UFC 174 fell short of spectacular, particularly when it came to the gate and attendance.
The UFC had a total of 13,506 people attend the event, and the gate was just 1.14 million. This is compared to UFC 131, which also took place in Vancouver drew 14,685 fans and had a gate of 2.8 million, which was a drop from the first time the UFC visited Vancouver in 2010 when Chuck Liddell fought Rich Franklin. That event did 17,669 fans and drew a gate of 4.2 million.
