Two more matchups have been confirmed by the UFC’s official Twitter account as middleweights Brad Tavares (10-1) and Bubba McDaniel (21-6) fight and Bobby Voelker (24-9) takes on James Head (9-3), both at UFC on FOX Sports 1: 2 on August 28th.
McDaniel currently rides a seven-fight win streak with his most recent being a submission win over TUF 17 roommate, Gilbert Smith in mid-April at the show’s finale.
Tavares last fought in early March, winning against Riki Fukuda with a unanimous decision. Tavares looks to extend his win streak to four straight.
For the welterweight additions, James Head looks to rebound after a tough loss to Mike Pyle in what was his first (T)KO loss of his career while Voelker seeks out his first UFC win after dropping a razor-thin decision to Patrick Cote at UFC 158.
The main event of the card is a welterweight fight between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann.
UFC on FOX Sports 1: 2 takes place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
