FOXSports.com has reported that UFC Fight Night 52, which will serve as the UFC’s return to Japan, will now play host to Takanori Gomi vs. Myles Jury, however no contracts have been signed.

Myles Jury had been making a strong play to get a fight with Nate Diaz, however when Diaz didn’t go for it, the UFC offered Jury Gomi instead. Jury is a perfect 14-0 in his professional career, and 5-0 in his UFC career.

Gomi on the other hand is somewhat of a legend in Japan, a former Pride FC champion, he bounced back from a loss to Diego Sanchez in March of 2013 to defeat Issac Vallie-Flagg in April of this year.
