It will mark the first time Ronda Rousey will appear in front a live crowd since losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on Jan. 23, which will mark her first major television appearance since losing as well.
Rousey has made an effort to stay away from media interviews and cameras since her devastating knockout loss to Holm back in November. She has had one highlighted interview with ESPN magazine, and aside from that has been rather quiet on her social media with hints of unhappiness in some of her posts.
Rousey posted an upbeat caption to her Instagram photo of the upcoming SNL schedule saying, “Beyond excited/nervous/honored to host @nbcsnl #jan23rd hopefully you’ll be watching and laughing either at or with me that night🙏🏼”
