On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, UFC flyweight Ian McCall was a guest, along with Brendan Schaub, who is also a frequent guest on the show.

Schaub asked who was better than Demetrious Johnson, who many believe is one of the top ranked pound for pound fighters in the world, and is also the reigning flyweight champion.

McCall responded:

“I am.”

At which point Joe Rogan said:

“If you beat him I really think you deserve ‘pound for pound best’…If you look at technique for technique, and what he has been able to pull off in title fights, he’s flawless.”
