Following his failed bit at the UFC’s welterweight title, Robbie Lawler went on the defensive during last night’s UFC Tonight.
Just a few days ago, Matt Brown came out talking about how Hendricks and Lawler played Patty Cake and didn’t really try to fight.
And with that, Lawler responded with the following:
“I was hittin’ him (Hendricks) as hard as I could, but … whatever, I don’t really care what anyone else says. I went out there and tried to do what I do. Hendricks hits pretty hard but I think I did a good job of not lettin’ anything land too solid.”
