UFC welterweight Robbie Lawler will fight Matt Brown this Saturday at UFC on Fox 12 to determine who will fight Johny Hendricks for the welterweight title. Lawler spoke to Fox Sports about why he isn’t worried about winning the belt right now.
“I’m not too worried about what that guy’s going to do. I’m worried about what I’m going to do to him,” Lawler said. “That’s something he should worry about.”
“I’m not worried about the belt right now,” Lawler said. “I’m worried about being the best I can be and put on a show for all the fans. It’s going to be exciting.”
With a win over Brown, Lawler will have the opportunity to erase a loss to Johny Hendricks from his record and claim a UFC championship.
