There has been talk for some time regarding a potential UFC ‘uniform’ that fighters would wear in the cage, limiting sponsorship logos on the trunks, and doing away with pre-fight banners.

MMASucka broke the news, and is reporting that the deal will do away with in-fight sponsorships, and fighters will make their sponsorship money by pushing fans to purchase merchandise, and will in turn get a percentage of the profit.

Many fans are questioning how this deal, if true, will negatively impact lower-level fighters, that don’t have as big of a fan following as the UFC superstars.

It is also being reported that the UFC will make an announcement regarding the uniforms this week.
