With an overall UFC record of 3-2 and just two-fights into his stint as a welterweight, ATT’s Hector Lombard, is calling for a title shot against the newly minted champion, Johny Hendricks.
The Judo based fighter is definitely deserving of being in the discussion for a crack at Johny, but so are the likes of Rory MacDonald, Tyron Woodley, and maybe even Nick Diaz.
His complete and total domination of Jake Shields last weekend at UFC 171 helped push Lombard in the right direction, but was that decision victory enough to get a crack at the sports most coveted title?
Hector seems to think so:
