A welterweight fight between Paulo Thiago (15-5) and TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum (6-0) has been scheduled for the UFC on FOX Sports 1 #2 show on August 28th at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Thiago is 2-4 in his last six, winning his last fight against a promotional newcomer at UFC on FX 8. Thiago will be looking for a statement victory to start his climb back up the ranks.

For Gastelum, his last outing was his win over TUF 17 favorite, Uriah Hall. Gastelum defeated Hall via Unanimous decision at the show’s finale in April.

Now, Gastelum takes a huge step up in competition at least in terms of experience.

Headlining the card is a welterweight rematch as Carlos Condit takes on Martin Kampmann. The two fought in Condit’s UFC debut with Kampmann taking the decision victory albeit a controversial one.
