August’s UFC Fight Night 74 fight card continues to take shape, as officials recently announced that veteran welterweights Patrick Cote and Josh Burkman will square off at the event.

Patrick “The Predator” Cote (21-9 MMA) was most recently seen in action at April’s UFC 186 event, where he scored a unanimous decision win over Joe Riggs. The veteran Canadian fighter has now won 4 of his past 5 bouts, with his lone loss in that time coming to surging contender Stephen Thompson.

Meanwhile, Josh Burkman (27-11 MMA) will be looking to earn his first UFC win since 2007 when he faces Cote in Saskatoon. “The People’s Warrior” was most recently seen in action at May’s UFC 187 event in Las Vegas, where he suffered a third-round submission loss to Dong Hyun Kim.

UFC Fight Night 74 takes place August 23 live from the beautiful SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The event is headlined by a key featherweight fight featuring Hawaiian Max Holloway taking on Brazilian standout Charles Oliveira.
