After a record-breaking year of failed drug tests in the UFC, the recently retired UFC veteran Mark Bocek released a statement through UFC Tonight explaining his retirement.

“I’ve gone through a lot of injuries. The sport is highly evolved and I’m not interested in competing against fighters on PED’s any longer,”
Mark retired earlier this week after thirteen fights inside the UFC’s Octagon. He last saw action in April beating Mike De La Torre via split-decision.
