At UFC 183, Nick Diaz stepped into the octagon to face Anderson Silva in what would become a frustrating twenty-five minute standup chess game. While Diaz was looking to come forward and strike the entire bout, Silva was perfectly fine with counterpunching and waiting for holes to open in Diaz’s defense.
The judges unanimously scored the bout in favor of Anderson Silva, but Nick Diaz states they need to learn how to watch a fight because he won “pretty much every round”!
